Thanks for being here!
Hi, I’m Ana Castro, and I’m the heart and soul behind Raspados El Paraíso. I came to the United States from Guasave, Sinaloa, in 1999 with my family, chasing the American Dream and the opportunity to build a better future. My journey started small—selling tamales and traditional Mexican foods to neighbors in Anaheim, California. From there, I moved to Tucson, Arizona, in 2001, where I began selling my foods from a cart, driven by my passion for sharing the authentic flavors of my culture. In 2004, I opened my first official location, Raspados El Paraíso, on Stone Ave. What started as a humble business grew quickly, thanks to the support of my wonderful customers. Over the years, I expanded to three locations: 5927 E 22nd St, 7701 E Golf Links Rd, and 3053 S Kinney Rd, all while staying true to my roots and dedication to quality.Today, Raspados El Paraíso is not just a business—it's a family. My four children and I run the show, and together, we’ve built something special. From our delicious raspados (shaved ice) made with the freshest fruit to our mouthwatering "fresas con crema" and savory "coctel de elote," everything we serve is made with love and attention to detail, just like my grandmother did.It hasn’t always been easy, but my determination, hard work, and commitment to quality have brought us this far. Our success isn’t just about serving great food—it's about creating a sense of community, providing jobs for more than 10 families, and offering a taste of home to everyone who walks through our doors.I am so proud of what we've built and excited for the future. With the support of my children, who are now adults, we’re planning to expand even further, with new charitable projects and business ventures in the works. None of this would be possible without the amazing people who have supported us along the way, and for that, I’m truly grateful.Thank you for choosing Raspados El Paraíso. We are more than just a business—we’re a story of perseverance, family, and a shared love for great food - Anna Castro
